The MPK series combines MPC pads, Q-link buttons, MPC production technology and the feel of a quality keyboard with MIDI control via USB. MPC pads are pressure and tempo responsive so that you can perfectly record your creations. MPC note repetition can let the MPK play an automatic rhythm pattern like, 16th notes for perfection in the tempo. In order to let your creation sound natural, the controller is equipped with the MPC Swing function that provides a more swinging rhythm to neatly ordered pieces of music. The MPK series works with most recording, sequencing and producer software for musicians, keyboard players, producers and even DJs and Vjs.The MPK 25 is the starter model of AKAI’s MPK series. With its 25 keys, it is quite compact, but as its has twelve pads, twelve knobs and four buttons with two banks each, it is also quite versatile. The MPK 25 is ideal for hobbyists or producers that have limited space and don’t want to spend a lot of money, but are still looking for a controller with a lot of buttons and functions.
