The MPK series combines MPC pads, Q-Link knobs, MPC production technology and the feel of a high-quality keyboard with MIDI control via USB. MPC pads are both pressure and velocity-sensitive and, as such, register every detail of your touch. The MPC Note Repeat function automatically creates a rhythm pattern, such as 16th notes, with optimal accuracy and speed. The MPC Swing function, on the other hand, provides your perfectly aligned sequences with a more natural, swinging rhythm. The MPK series is compatible with most recording, sequencing and production software for musicians, keyboard players and producers, as well as DJs and VJs.
The MPK 88 is the most comprehensive model from the MPK series – equipped with no fewer than 88 keys, the MIDI controller is the ultimate companion for your production software. Thanks to its pressure and velocity-sensitive MPC pads and the necessary faders and knobs, the MPK 88 offers you all the MIDI control you require. In addition, the Akai controller features Key Split functionality, which enables you to control two different sounds from the same keyboard.
