You are probably familiar with these joints if you have ever seen a choir being amplified. The special swivel ensures that you can create a connection between the microphone amplifier and the capsule that is on top. This makes it easier to suspend the microphone in a way so that you can aim it very precisely at specific group or person, while preserving the audio quality. In the joint are several electronic systems that ensure that no additional cabling will have to be used to pass through it. Plug and play!
