Alesis has gained more than 20 years of experience in professional electronic percussion gear. This electronic drum set, the DM6, is the perfect choice for every aspiring drummer. This drum set features a completely new sound module with 108 high-quality drum, cymbal and percussion sounds. The pads feel very natural and its hardware and rack systems are high quality. Alesis has used natural rubber for the drum and cymbal pads in order to reduce vibration feedback. This makes playing feel much more natural, almost as if you are drumming on a real acoustic drum set.

This digitalkit contains a dual-zone snare pad. When you hit the centre, you will hear the normal snare sound but you can also use a rim shot or a rim click. You can also choose something completely different like a cowbell on the rim!

The DM6 contains three tom pads, one bass drum pad, hi-hat, crash and ride cymbal pads. It also includes an Alesis bass drum pedal. The bass pad can be used with almost every single and double bass pedal. The DM6 contains a USB output so you can send your notes to your PC or MAC. This will be dispatched as a MIDI signal so that you can use your DM6 kit with several kinds of drum module software, such as BFD, Toontrack or Reason. This increases your collection of drum sounds. The drum set has headphone and amplifier outputs which allows you to play softly or very loudly. You can also play along with your favourite music thanks to the iPod or CD player inputs. The DM6 has a built-in metronome and a handy tool to practise your rhythm. Lastly, the DM6 has a built-in sequencer with 40 music tracks to play along with.
