The Xone:42 is a professional 4-channel mixer, equipped with the VCF filter module. It has a new feature though, which is a USB port. With this USB port you can control effects via your laptop. You can also use it to record your set or to send your computer-stored audio to the mixer. There is still the possibility to use your hardware effects via send return which you can even blend with the VCF filter by means of the X-FX button! Many electronic musicians use the popular filter effect. This is created by the crossover point of VCF which can be varied slowly to reveal or unveil the undertones of the oscillator.
The mixer is also equipped with a 3-band tone control per channel with kill function, a microphone input with tone control and VCA cross fader with curve control. This is a fully-fledged Xone, in a stylish, black edition, for a moderate price.
