Low-budget light effects with loads of moving parts often break easily as their cheap electric motors aren’t able to cope with long duty cycles. The American DJ Roto Balls TRI LED is another light effect in this formula, and is modelled after an existing effect that uses a conventional lamp. As its name suggests, this effect features LEDs and reaps the benefits of their low power consumption and ability to create various colours that can be switched on or off independently. This fixture supplies every type of music or atmosphere with an appropriate colour combination. The rotating balls each have four RGB tri-colour LEDs that are able to produce red, green, blue, purple, yellow, cyan and white. The rotation speed can be adjusted up to 35 RPM. This is a fun effect for amateur as well as advanced light shows, and produces a great show when you suspend it from the ceiling or a wall. The swirling effect creates a striking and fun light show.
