The MacBook Pro MD101F/A is the smallest MacBook Pro in Apples collection. Even still, it has enough power for most audio, photo and video projects, as well as for more complex games. The French model is equipped with an AZERTY keyboard. Furthermore, it features a 13.3-inch screen, a 2.5GHz Intel dual-core i5 processor with a turbo-boost function (up to 3.1 GHz), a 500GB hard drive and 4 GB of DDR3 memory. You’ll find that this MacBook Pro features a bright screen with beautiful colours. The 13.3-inch screen is powered by an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card and has a native resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels. You can also use an external screen with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels to expand the notebook screen via the Thunderbolt connector.
Fast I/O ports
The MacBook Pro has a few unique connectors that make this small notebook into a versatile workstation. Such connectors include a fast FireWire 800 port, two USB 3 ports and a Thunderbolt port. The Thunderbolt port is particularly interesting, as it can reach up to 10 Gbps and can be used to daisy chain up to six Thunderbolt devices. As such, you can easily connect your Apple Thunderbolt display, external memory device and your Thunderbolt sound card to it.
