Behringer offers excellent ease of use when it comes to small-scale amplification for indoor and outdoor applications. This EPA150 set is easy to transport thanks to the compact size and the mixer-in-case model.
That’s not all though, because Behringer has equipped this set with plenty of functions that make this system suited for complete bands! The EPA150 features a compact, yet incredibly versatile mixing console that offers tons of possibilities when it comes to connections, settings and effects. Furthermore, the mixer is also equipped with two balanced XLR inputs and both a balanced and unbalanced jack plug connection on channels 1 and 2, along with an instrument jack on channel 3 and RCA line inputs on channels 4 and 5. With all of these connections available, virtually any device can be connected, from an MP3 player to a microphone to a guitar!
Behringer describes the mixing console as ‘loaded with features’, and we agree whole-heartedly! It would be difficult not to, seeing as the mixer segment is equipped with long-throw faders, a 3-band EQ per channel, a general 7-band EQ, stereo master faders, headphone controls, and phantom power for the microphones.
But Behringer didn’t stop there. On the top right of the mixer you’ll also find a 24-bit stereo FX processor, which gives you the option of 100 presets for adding extra effects to vocals!
Of course, there wouldn’t be any sound without speakers and an amplifier, and that’s why the mixer is equipped with a 2x 75W amplifier, along with two compact speakers that each feature a double 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver for providing sparkling sound that really comes into its own with speech amplification. As you can imagine then, this set is quite ideal for company presentations.
All in all, this is a tremendously compact system with a sea of specifications, options and extras that you should really experience for yourself! The EPA150 is certainly more than meets the eye!
