Part of the Boss Next-Generation Serial GK System, the GK-5 divided guitar pickup can be connected to the GM-800 guitar synthesizer and other Boss-designed guitar synths for a mass of sonic options. The special flat pickup design and included mounting materials ensure fuss-free installation in combination with most modern electric guitars – in fact, the Boss GK-5 even comes with a special bridge mounting plate to support LP-style guitars.

The GK-5: Smaller and Better Than Ever

Unlike standard guitar pickups which send out a combined signal, the GK-5 sends out a signal for each string, giving you a host of options for tweaking the sound. The GK-5 is not only slimmer than its predecessors, it also boasts more stable signal transmission and less noise. Hook it up using a specially-designed Serial GK jack cable and be assured of optimum performance. By the way, hooking it up to the aforementioned GM-800 gives you access to the inspiring synth sounds of the Roland ZEN-Core synthesis system – just saying!
