Nord has redesigned their popular Lead 2 and equipped it with more memory and the newest hardware. That means that the Nord Lead 2X is completely up-to-date and ready for the future!
It has the same powerful sound engine and specifications as the Lead 2, but features a new internal memory that’s equipped with an enormous number of sounds, while still retaining enough extra space for creating and saving your own sounds. You’ll find three banks with 99 user programs, 100 user Performances and three collections of Percussion Kits, along with the pre-existing 7x 99 factory programs, 3x 100 factory performances and 7x 10 factory Percussion Kits. The Nord Lead 2X is 100% patch-compatible with the older Nord Lead 2, which means that you can use all your favourite MIDI sounds.
It also has 20-voice polyphony, which is very convenient for creating layered sounds, power pads, super leads and deep basses. Twenty voices are also great for sequence applications when you want to use more than one sound.
The sound of the Lead 2X has also been improved to be more refined than ever, thanks to the crystal-clear 24-bit digital-analogue converters that function at 96 kHz!
