The Denon DN-S1200 tabletop CD player distinguishes itself by its remarkable versatility. The player is equipped with a USB 2.0 port, so it can be connected to – and used with – external devices such as external hard drives, iPods or MP3 players.
In addition to its USB functionality, the DNS1200 offers MIDI compatibility, which enables you to connect it to your PC. The player is also supported by a range of popular DJ software, including Serato Scratch Live. A second USB port allows for MIDI control of the software.
Using the latest firmware, it is possible to have your DN-S1200 transmit timecode signals to, for instance, Serato. This enables you to use the spinning platter in combination with your PC! The other controls are still MIDI-assignable. Firmware updates can be downloaded free of charge after you have registered your player via the Denon website.
Tabletop CD players are always supplied with a short RCA-RCA cable, which enables you to connect the player to a mixer. For intensive use, we recommend that you add a more supple cable with more rugged connectors to your order, such as the Procab CAB800.
