ESI brings a solution for those who want to connect their MIDI-device to a computer that does not have a classic MIDI-input. One side of the transparent white ESI MIDIMATE II can be connected onto a USB-port and the other to the usual 5-pin MIDI-in/outputs of (for example) a keyboard, synthesizer or digital piano. User-friendliness of the MIDIMATE II The MIDIMATE II is plug-and-play compatible fir Windows and Mac. This means user-friendliness without driver installations. The interface has 16 MIDI-channels per in and output (32 channels in total). Interestingly, both connectors can function as output as well as input. The ESI MIDIMATE II detects on its own which plug is used on an input and which plug is used on an output.
