EX-307: powerful EMGs for 7 strings
As important as the wood of the body is the quality of a guitar’s pickups. The LTD EX-307 BLKS (Black Satin) is equipped with a duo of active humbuckers by the renowned EMG company. This guitar features a powerful EMG 81-7 at the bridge, a pickup that is very much appreciated for its balanced, clear sound. Its sibling, the EMG 707, specialises in seven-string guitars and represents the low B with a surprisingly clear, tight sound. Lastly, the EX307 is fitted with a slender neck, beautiful headstock, large frets and reliable Grover tuners.
