General
The LTD MH-327FM STR is a luxury guitar made for advanced hard rock and metal musicians. Its 27 frets give you a wide range and their large size allows for easier string bends. The comfortably slender neck features a set-through construction for improved sustain and attack. Additionally, this guitar has a body made of mahogany, a type of wood known for its deep, warm resonance that nonetheless pierces through the mix excellently. This guitar’s Flamed Maple top gives it a very attractive look, especially in combination with the transparent red lacquer.
MH-327 FM: two Seymour Duncans
The body of the LTD MH-327FM STR (See Thru Red) is home to two Seymour Duncan pickups. These high-quality humbuckers both produce a powerful output but each have a very distinct personal character. The bridge pickup – the Custom 5 – produces a great vintage ’50s sound, while the slender Hot Rails gives us a proper dose of big tones as well as a very respectable sustain. The coil-tap function allows you to effortlessly switch to the familiar single-coil brightness. Together with the rock-solid Floyd Rose tremolo, this pickup configuration gives you a wide range of (hard) rock and metal sounds.
