The LTD PT-4 BLKS is an excellent bass guitar, designed after specifications by War and PHILM member Pancho Tomaselli. This progressive funk rock bass player opted for a swamp ash body for a sweet, clear base tone. Its tone is transferred exceptionally well by its two headroom-rich active EMG JX pickups that provide this bass guitar with a distinct yet modern open j bass tone while preserving the familiar EMG clarity and response.
A personal touch with the PT-4
The tone of the LTD PT4 BLKS (Black Satin) can be accurately tuned to your personal preference. You can use the balance knob to even out the two pickups and the tone knobs to add or reduce clarity and bass. This way, you can effortlessly sway from sparkling, mix-piercing sounds to rounder, more muted tones. Remove the control plate to adjust the timbre even further!
