General
The Fender Mando-Strat (3-Colour Sunburst) is the 4-string electric mandolin from the ’50s and ’60s revisited. It has a body and headstock in Stratocaster style and an elegant tortoise pickguard. The body is made of alder for a deep and balanced base tone and the instrument is amplified by the built-in single-coil Fender pickup.
The classic Mando-Strat
You’ll find two octaves of frets, fitted to the dark rosewood fretboard, and a blank maple neck and vintage-style machine heads. The classic chrome bridge was made on the same machine that was used to fabricate the original components half a century ago. A sparkling addition to stage and studio!
