An homage to the Teles of the sixties, the Vintera II ’60s Telecaster mimics every inch of the antique original but comes at a far more doable price. Built in the Fender factory in Mexico, this authentic chopping board delivers the necessary twang and bite of a throwback pair of Vintage-Style ’60s Single Coil Tele pickups coupled with a six-screw Vintage-Style hard-tail bridge and three steel saddles. Meanwhile, the maple neck supplies the familiar, old-school comfort of an Early ’60s C profile and a rosewood fretboard with a 7.25 inch radius and a set of twenty-one Vintage Tall frets.

Retro Tele Flavour

To complete the retro-flavoured look, the hardware has been given a chromed-nickel finish while the pickguard comes in a classic mint green. And, as a light modern tweak, and to prevent the strings from getting stuck in the nut grooves, Fender have opted for a synthetic bone nut that’s been specifically designed to up the stability and allow smooth passage while tuning up.
