Bringing all the authentic, vintage vibe of a classic Tele while pushing up the power and flair, the Fender Vintera II 70s Telecaster Deluxe doesn’t just swap out the single-coils for humbuckers, but features a period-correct build. The solid alder body is home to a pair of Vintage-Style Wide-Range humbuckers that shape variable tonal warmth and big sound and, to really depart from the Tele recipe, Fender has mounted a synchronised tremolo bridge to support some vibrato-based playing expression. Polished off with comfy, throwback playability, this edition of the Deluxe features a maple neck with a ’70s U profile and a full set of six adjustable block saddles.
