The Gibson 57 Classic Plus is a 2-conductor, vintage humbucking guitar pickup that’s made to deliver late ’50s PAF-style sound. Designed mainly for electric solid-body guitars, this 9 kOhm humbucker can be mounted in the neck or bridge position and comes wax-potted to counter unwanted feedback. Just like the original, the 57 Classic Plus features an Alnico 2 magnet which allows it to shape those legendarily rich, warm and lightly sweetened sounds.
