The vintage voice of the Ibanez AG95K-NT electric guitar is shaped by an acacia semi-hollow body combined with a pair of passive Super 58 alnico pickups. The body construction brings plenty of warmth, deepening the basses and rounding off the sharper edges of the mids which, combined with the overdriven, high-output dual-coils, results in variable, throwback tone. The humbuckers can be isolated or combined to change up the sound, which is dialled in via a volume and tone pot per pickup and, since this satisfying model comes finished in sleek, matching style – from the gold colour of the hardware to the classic headstock shape and natural finish of the body and neck – every box is ticked.
