Rich and modern sound is assured by a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, a sapele back and matching sides, while the internal fan bracing emphasises the natural tone and the set-in nyatoh neck and walnut fretboard add a sweet touch of warmth.

The Ibanez FRH10N: A Narrower Nut & Side Sound-Port

The neck has the familiar feel of a C-profile carve and 46mm-wide bone nut and the fretboard radius even sits at a flat 15.75 inches to support fast and flowing fret work. The soundhole of this classical guitar has also been removed and replaced with a sound-port in the side of the upper-bout where it serves as an acoustic monitor, whether unplugged or amplified. And when this model is plugged into the PA system or an acoustic amplifier, the Custom Electronics preamp and T-Bar Undersaddle pickup system delivers clear and defined, sweet and natural sound.
