The Ibanez SR1600 NTF (Natural Flat) Premium is an exceptionally stylish bass guitar for ambitious bass players. The full and deeply resonating, mahogany body has a top with a natural-coloured finish made of poplar wood, to give the guitar an exclusive look. You can also count on a smooth, fast neck and a comfortable light weight. The endings of the frets have had a special treatment which means they have been rounded for more playing comfort. This is a beautiful addition to the popular, modern bass guitars from the SR series.Nordstrand pickupsThe two Nordstrand Big Single 4 pickups that are found on this guitar are single-coil pickups. Although single coils are commonly known for their clear sound, Ibanez managed to get fat sounds out of them as well. This results in a powerful, rather aggressive sound while preserving the clarity of the single coils. The Ibanez SR1600NTF also has an active tone circuit with 3-band equalizer, a mid frequency switch (250/600 Hz) and a bypass switch.
