Description
General
The immortal spirit of Randy Rhoads lives on in the enormous sound, fast playability, and legendary styling of the Jackson X-Series Rhoads RRX24 – granting affordable access to a must-have for any die-hard Randy fan. The neck-through-construction means that the lightweight poplar body has been shot through with an ultra-stable, graphite reinforced neck to enhance vibrational transfer and sustain, while the headstock has been fused to the neck via a seamless scarf joint for a strong connection and a smooth feel. The laurel fretboard has been loaded with twenty-four jumbo frets and a set of oh-so-recognisable pearloid sharkfin inlays, while the compound radius graduates from 12 inches to 16 inches for a snug grip towards the headstock, and a more fast, fluid, and controlled feel as you get closer to the body.
The Jackson X-Series Rhoads RRX24: Seymour Duncan Blackouts
Two Seymour Duncan Blackouts deliver big and brutal, in-your-face, active dual-coil output that packs the dynamics needed to back up everything from tight rhythms to screaming leads. Simply toggle the three-way selector switch and tweak the volume and tone pots to taste. Since every self-respecting shredder shouldn’t be seen without a Floyd Rose bridge, this model has been adorned with a Floyd Rose Special double-locking system that ensures solid tuning, no matter how extreme the flutter and dive-bombs get. To finish, the battle-ready Rhoads RRX24 has been mounted with black hardware and coated in a Purple Metallic paint-job with black bevels.
