The R6 is the passive monitor that was missing from the popular KRK Rokit series. Since its introduction, it has become the new standard for passive monitors, with improved performance and even more detail.
It features the rounded edges that are typical of the other models in the Rokit series, which works to improve the sound and reduce internal resonance frequencies. Traditional angular speakers suffer from diffraction when the sound from the edge of the frame comes back into the sound field, which causes phase distortion. The curvy design of these monitors combats that, so you don’t have to worry about sound quality.
