The Mackie SRM1801 is an active subwoofer that delivers powerful lows you’ll feel in the pit of your stomach, and adds a considerable punch to any PA system. It’s equipped with a ported bass reflex system that was specifically designed to ensure a tight low end.
Thanks to an ultra-efficient class D Fast Recovery amplifier, the Mackie SRM-1801 achieves a peak power of no less than 1,000 watts, without running the risk of overheating or overloading. This lightweight amplifier keeps the Mackie subwoofer nicely portable, without sacrificing any power or audio quality. The SMR1801 boasts built-in electronics like an accurate crossover and tuning filters, and as such its bass response is exceptionally precise and fast. Unlike other high-power subwoofers, the SRM1801 delivers defined, tight bass tones.
Combine the SRM1801 with, for instance, the Mackie SRM450v2, and you have a complete, plug-and-play PA system that’s perfect for small clubs, DJs and band rehearsals. Full-range satellite speakers can be connected via both full-range and high-pass stereo outputs. Using the SRM1801’s volume control and polarity switch, you can easily attune the subwoofer and satellite speaker to each other.
