Developed alongside Jack White’s brand, this MXR Custom Shop and Third Man Hardware collab has been set up to supply gigging guitarists with the ultimate booster. The Double Down pedal wraps two independent MXR Micro Amp circuits in one box to complete a circuit that splits the input signal into two outputs, each with a dedicated Gain pot for dialling in up to 26 decibels of extra boost, and meaning that two signal chains can be fattened up in one shot. To polish everything off, the Double Down also features side-mounted Phase and Buffer mini-switches.
