The Orange OR30 Head delivers enough headroom to do battle with any 100 Watt guitar amp, but at 30 Watts, this model can even back you up during bedroom rehearsal sessions. Flip the attenuator switch from 30 Watts to 2 Watts and, at super-low volume levels, this amplifier still shapes the sweet, organic sound of 12AX7 and EL84 tubes, while the built-in effects loop has been kitted out with a single 12AU7 tube. And, while this British designed and built offering is based on the legendary OR50, it comes with more than enough tasty little extras.

The Orange OR30 Head: Classic Orange Quality Plus

To kick the treble end of that unmistakable, classic Orange sound up a notch, simply hit the Bright switch, and while the output is limited to 30 Watts, the sound is massive. Find the response sweet spot via the Cross-Line Presence pot and, to gain that essential extra push during solos, a footswitch (not included) can be hooked up to trigger the built-in volume boost hands-free. Team up this flexible head with a matching 16 Ohm or two 8 Ohm Orange speaker cabinets to complete the satisfying set.
