Description
General
Japanese made and exclusively designed to take up the bridge position of ST-style models, the Razor Blade Bucker, or Burdobakk as it’s known in Japan, wraps the extra output of a dual-coil up in a single-coil package to push up the sonic flexibility. This ceramic pup is easily installed without the need to mess with the routing or modify the pickguard of your guitar, and once it’s loaded on, you gain the mega-adaptable sound of an HSS configuration while retaining the traditional look of an SSS configuration. This potent little humbucker even features a four-wire layout, so it can be wired up to a coil-split switch, phase-shift switch and series/parallel switch as demanded. Combine it with a Razor Blood Moon mounted at the neck or middle positions (or both) and build a formidable sonic dream team.
Tips or comments about this product
This pickup has 4 wires so it can support a coil-split, phase switch, and series/parallel switch.
For a standard 2-wire installation, the red and white wires can be soldered together.
