In short, Reloop have a reputation to uphold and, with the RMX and RMP series, they certainly manage to do that.For this set, Bax-shop have selected an RMX-20 mixer with an RMP-1 tabletop player to go on each side. The entire set has a black design and the mixer is equipped with a distinctive brushed deck plate that will get noticed for sure.The RMX-20 may look simple at first glance, but houses a number of great features. It is fitted with kill switches, which can be used as a type of effect. Each channel is equipped with a three-band equalizer that can also be used for tricks. Thanks to its two channels, the RMX-20 is ideal for scratch or battle DJs. An additional microphone channel comes in handy if you like to partner up with an MC.The RMP-1 tabletop players have a well-organised layout. Reloop have clearly studied the layout of large brands’ players and adapted it to fit their own design. The large 20cm jog wheel takes a central position and makes mixing, scratching an cueing attractive for any DJ. Although the RMP-1 is a fairly basic player, it does feature various practical functions, such as sample banks, cue point banks, MP3 support, auto cue, seamless loops, re-loop, anti-shock memory, relay play, fader start and a digital output. Luckily, this seemingly simple player houses a good deal of great technology!Without headphones, however, a DJ can do very little and for that reason, Bax-shop have added a pair of black RHP-10 DJ headphones that match the rest of the set in both looks and performance.This neat set is ideal for DJs who want to take up scratching or who have been scratching for a while.
