General
The Samson DB1500A is an active subwoofer with a 15-inch woofer. This driver is powered by a built-in amplifier of no fewer than 500 watts RMS. A built-in active stereo crossover with a high-pass output lets you daisy chain to an active satellite speaker. The 3/4-inch plywood housing with steel corners gives the dB1500A a robust look. With the large metal handles you can easily carry the subwoofer, and the 35mm flange for a distance rod lets you mount a satellite speaker. All in all, a perfect subwoofer for fixed installations as well as on-the-road use.
