General
The dB1800A is an active subwoofer with a heavy-duty, 18-inch driver for low frequencies with butyl surround, powered by a 1,000W (max.) amplifier. A built-in active stereo crossover with a high-pass output lets you daisy chain an active satellite speaker. The 3/4-inch plywood housing with steel corners gives the dB1800A a robust look. With the large metal handles you can easily carry the subwoofer, and the 35mm flange for a distance rod lets you mount a satellite speaker. All in all, a perfect subwoofer for fixed installations as well as on-the-road use.
