General
The Showtec Booster is a DMX splitter and booster in one! The incoming signal isn’t just split roughly, it is copied and distributed via electrically isolated lines, so that you can set up a stable and reliable DMX crossroads, with one input and various outputs. This Booster also functions as a 3-pin to 5-pin converter (and vice versa), as 3 and 5-pin XLR connectors are provided and can be used together simultaneously.
Each DMX channel is provided with a separate driver, DATA and DATA-indicator. The built-in DMX switch isolated disturbances caused by DMX input. As every output is separately powered by the Booster there is a high enough voltage to effectively distribute the DMX signal over your lighting.
