General
The name of Shure is automatically associated with quality! The ULX1 bodypack transmitter can be used, among other things, for the wireless transfer of the signal of a headset microphone, an instrument microphone or a lavalier microphone. You can also use the instrument cable to send a signal from a guitar or keyboard to the ULXP4 receiver. The ULX1 is equipped with all kinds of handy functions such as a lockable frequency and power selector, 3-segment battery meter, a backlit LCD display, a peak icon and a flexible wave antenna.
The transmitter can be powered by a single 9-Volt battery for up to eight hours. It has a range of 100 metres. The ULX4P receiver ensures that a connection is quickly made thanks to its automatic frequency selection, after which you will be able to enjoy wireless ease of use!
Shure’s ULX series distinguishes itself in a few ways. Different settings can be locked, for instance, but there is more! Before your sound can be wirelessly transferred, the signal usually needs to be compressed first. Compressing the signal can lead to damage, however, as it also needs to be decompressed at the receiving end. Luckily, the ULX series has a more efficient way of compressing and decompressing the signal and therefore there is less signal loss. This results in a higher sound quality! With the SLX series, you can use 12 systems simultaneously, but with the ULX series there is no limit! This makes the ULXP4 a great player that is used enthusiastically by sound technicians for live applications as well as for fixed installations, because of its many extra functions!
