Description
General
Sigma’s TM-12E electro-acoustic travel guitar makes it easy to play anywhere. This relatively compact model has a solid Sitka spruce top with a back, sides and neck made of mahogany for a warm, bright sound that’s perfect for virtually any style. It even comes complete with a handy gig bag.
The TM-12E: Sigma Preamp
One of the best things about the TM-12E is the fact that it can be easily plugged into an amplifier. It’s equipped with a piezo pickup and a versatile Sigma-made preamp which sets you up with a 3-band EQ. In addition the bass, mid and treble controls, you’ll also find a volume control and even a built-in tuner.
Playing Comfort
Many travel guitars sacrifice playing comfort in the name of portability but not the TM-12E. At 23 inches, the scale length might be slightly shorter than a standard model, but the 1.69″ nut width feels comfortably familiar, resulting in a nicely compact guitar that’s more than satisfying to play.
