The new MixConsole really stands out. This main screen contains all your tracks and the most important parameters. A full screen option allows you to work with a clear overview. The sound of all elements has been improved, via to Steinbergs audio engine update. It is possible to boost up to 12 dB per channel which could be useful in bringing forward the softer sounds in your end mix. Other functions are A/B comparisons, channel zones, drag and drop, track icons and control rooms. All these new functions really enhance your workflow.
Audio technical elements within Cubase 7
The Cubase 7 contains enough tools to fully optimise your audio performance. The new channel strip function offers 3 compressor models, a 4-band EQ, Envelope Shaper, Tape & Tube Saturation and various limiter options. You can always check your loudness with the integrated loudness meter that is compatible with the EBU R128 standard. Do you work with a lot of instruments? The built-in harmony functions such as VariAudio 2.0 and Chord Track could really help you out. The accessory Voxengo CurveEQ and MixConvert allow you to correct sounds perfectly and finish your mix to the last detail.
