The Tascam US-322 is a versatile, stylish and rugged USB 2.0 audio interface. Connect the compact interface to your computer via the USB output and you’re able to record microphones and instruments. The US-322 is equipped with two balanced inputs, offering you a choice between XLR and 6.3mm jack connector. Naturally, switchable phantom power is also at your disposal, so you can use condenser microphones as well.
Inputs and outputs of the US-322
The Tascam US322 enables you to send your mix to your DAW (Steinberg Cubase LE6 is included) as a multitrack or as a stereo mix – simply choose the right setting by means of the switch at the bottom of the device. Listen to the output of this external sound card via the headphone output, or plug in a set of active monitors or a mixer to the reliable balanced 6.3mm outputs or RCA outputs.
A well-equipped interface
The volume of the inputs can be adjusted by means of two stylish gain controls on the aluminium housing of the US-322, while a large knob allows you to control the output volume. A number of practical built-in DSP effects, including a compressor, reverb, equalizer, de-esser and exciter, allow you to add the right touches to your incoming signals. The mixer display on your PC/Mac can be quickly accessed by means of the Mixer Panel button.
