General
Serving up sixties and seventies style fuzz in more up-to-date style, the Tsakalis AudioWorks Experience stompbox lays it on thick before adding an extra octave up. This hand-built fuzz box doesn’t just blend fuzz with an extra octave, but both effects can be used independently and are toggled on and off via dedicated footswitches. The octave has been kitted out with its own set of volume and tone pots, while the fuzz can be shaped and moulded via the volume, tone, damage and gain pots lined up along the top. With a Jordan Boss Tone circuit and two vintage silicon transistors with FET clipping laying the groundwork for the fuzz, this pedal is able to scroll through everything from mild and furry to classic chewed-up fuzz.
