Anything but one-dimensional, the Walrus Audio Fundamental Distortion is a tight pedalboard-essential loaded with three different modes: Dark, Silicon and LED. In Dark mode, asymmetrical silicon clipping delivers maximum dynamics; in Silicon mode, ultra-hard clipping shapes solid crunch and compression; and since LED-based clipping is louder by nature, you might want to pull back the Volume slider when this pedal is flipped into LED mode. Like all Walrus Audio offerings, this pedal was built in Oklahoma, USA.
