The Yamaha Pacifica 112JL II promises any ambitious beginner a running start. This electric guitar boasts an extremely solid build given its cost and has a flexible load-out in terms of electronics. The Pacifica 112JL II has an HSS pickup configuration which means it’s equipped with a humbucker in the bridge position, a single-coil pickup in the middle position and another single-coil in the neck position. Here, the humbucker shapes more robust sound fit for styles like blues and rock, while the single-coils sound tighten things up a bit, making them perfect for styles that demand a clearer sound.
